Frigidaire - 22.3 Cu. Ft. Side-by-Side Refrigerator - White

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We finally dumped our Whirlpool fridge after replacing the ice maker 4 or 5 times! Our new one has a great ice capacity and makes really hard ice that lasts longer. Don't understand that but it's the truth.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only had it for a week but overall, it appears to be fine with two exceptions. 1). When using a 12 ounce glass to retrieve ice, ice always hits the floor. I have to use a wider glass, such as a 24 ounce, which has a wider opening at the top to catch the ice, then I transfer it to the smaller 12 ounce glass. It is easier to do it this way rather than cleaning ice of the floor every time. When pushing the glass into the lever the tube that dispenses the ice moves with the lever and the tube is just under 2 1/2", where as the 12 ounce glass is 2 1/8" which allows any small chips of ice to fall outside of the glass. You can't take the glass and fit it up closer to the tube because it is up at an angle behind the control panel, hence the reason why it moves downward as the lever is pushed inward. 2). There is wasted space in the door. There is no adjustment for the bottom narrow door shelves but the upper shelves do have it, however I will need to buy another upper door shelf as there are more adjustments than shelves. It appears they designed the door shelves for a case of 2 liter soda bottles when in fact the door shelves usually are housing smaller containers, (ketchup, mustard, pickles, etc.) so I don't need a foot of space between every shelf.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the fridge! I've never had water and ice in the door. We use a lot of water so it is very convenient.I am afraid that we are going to spend A lot of money on filters. It only lasted four months. The size is perfect for my family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old fridge was freezing everything off and on, and I could never tell when it would do it. I'm glad to have something I can depend on to keep my food fresh. The new one is not as large a capacity as the MaytagPlus I had, but I'll get used to finding places to put everything. I don't like the ice dispenser for my large mouth thermos, as it tends to shoot the cubes all over and they get on the floor, but it's good if I put a bowl under it and catch them that way.
