Frigidaire - 3.9 Cu. Ft. High Efficiency Top Load Washer and 5.6 Cu. Ft. Electric Dryer Laundry Center - White

Dont buy this. I had it less than 3 years & something inside the gearbox needed to be fixed so I decided that since it was the 3rd problem I had with it already that I would just buy new. Stackable is the way to go because if the washer or dryer break then you have to replace both anyway.

My last two washers were front loaders. I decided to make the change back to a top load, agitating machine. I am so happy I did. No more ripped gaskets, mouldy gaskets, smells. This machine (washer and dryer) is very, very simple to operate. It has a good capacity and I don't have to worry about my clothing being ripped in the washer (due to overload by family members). It fits nicely into the same space as my previously stacked washer and dryer. I am no longer frustrated with the awkward offset doors (stackable but neither door could be reversed).

This was perfect for what I needed. It is quiet, efficient and does the job well. I was so happy to find a W/D that fit my price range and I couldn't be happier. The many different functions was an improvement over my previous W/D and I have been using different settings to get the perfect wash. A fantastic purchase!

We originally had a Frigidaire front load washer and dryer for the last seven and a half years. During that time they worked great, however my wife was finding it difficult to load and unload clothing from the machines, due to having to bend down. Yes we could have put them on pedestals, but we had installed a countertop above the front loading machines and wanted to keep, as it was very handy for us. We decided on going with a laundry centre instead, as there was room for it beside the counter. All of our home appliances are Frigidaire and were purchased from a local dealer here in town. With that said and our new Frigidaire laundry centre installed, we are extremely happy with our latest Frigidaire purchase. My wife no longer has issues loading and unloading our laundry, the machine is extremely quiet, very easy to use and appears to be well made. This is a great machine for seniors, laundry areas where space is limited and a cost effective option.

HOW DO I GET THE HOT WATER TO WORK? WE HAD A SERVICE TECH OUT TO FIX IT AND HE SAID HE DID BUT ALL WE GET IS COLD WATER. WE TURN THE COLD OFF COMPLETELY AND HAVE THE HOT ON COMPLETELY NOTHING HAPPENS. YOU CAN HEAR IT CALLING FOR THE HOT BUT ALL THE COMES OUT IS COLD. IT DOES NOT DO A GOOD JOB.
