Frigidaire - Gallery 24 inch Single Gas Wall Oven with Air Fry - White

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was hoping our old oven would pull through until we could remodel our kitchen and I could get a single oven/stove appliance. But you know what they say about making plans… Anyway, besides the size, I am falling in love with my new Frigidaire oven. I haven't had a chance to use all of its modes yet, but it has been reliable thus far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new wall oven pre-heats almost too fast! I got so used to older & other brands/types of ovens that I've had to let the oven stay in pre-heat mode while finishing up food prep. Very efficient as far as heating up amd staying at temperature once the active flame is shut off once it reaches the target temperature. The option to cook with almost every type of cooking (bake, fry, convection, steam, etc.. all in one appliance is definitely a game changer. Having the "broiler" on top of the oven containment instead of bow it and it being an electric element instead of direct flame opens things up to being baked properly then have a "crust" or topping being more "we'll done" for texture and extra ingredients that don't need to be baked as long as the rest of the meal such as putting a nice bubbly , harder cheese "crust" on top of lasagna without having to even open the oven is fantastic. Re-heating foods that get ruined in microwaves such as pizza using the air or convection options makes re-warmed pizza taste like it's fresh put of the oven the first time, again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This oven offers convection baking, roasting and air frying in addition to the standard oven and broiler. My main knock is the size, it's tiny compared to my ancient Caloric that fit in the same space. That and I would have preferred the broiler where the storage space is. Something else I miss about the Caloric.

This product has a massive design flaw which was not disclosed until I read the instruction manual after the oven was installed. That defect is that the oven has no exterior venting system. The only vent is in the front door of the oven. This means that, whenever the oven is on, hot air is continuously released into the kitchen from the front of the oven. If the oven is set at 400 degrees, then 400 degree air is flooding into your kitchen the entire time the oven is on. I live in an area where the summers are hot, with 100 + degree in the summer and fall. Even in the winter, the hot air streaming out of the oven heats not only the kitchen but other parts of my house as well. This means essentially that I will be unable to use the oven in the summer or fall, since I cannot afford to pay for the additional air conditioning that would be required to compensate for the hot air generated by the oven when its on. The oven is thus unuseable for half the year. This is a major defect, in my opinion, and I never would have bought the oven if I had known about this fact.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this oven because it would fit in the space and no cabinet modifications required. Having said that, I love the oven. It keeps to temperature, has great cooking selections, and I was able to use it (and set the clock) without reding the manual first. I also like how bright the oven light is. Looks good too.
