I do so much research on how to help my slow digestive tract. This is one of the most used herbs in the GI healing realm. I wanted to buy bulk to save money, but also to keep from having more stress on my system by multiple capsules. So far so good. It is a well researched herb.

I started using Frontier Co-op Slippery Elm as part of my natural protocol for gut inflammation, stomach irritation, and acid reflux — and it has quickly become one of my favorite healing herbs. As for dosage, I take about 1 teaspoon stirred into warm water, 1–2 times a day, usually before meals or on an empty stomach. I have been taking this product for over 2 x decades. I no longer need colitis meds its an amazing healer & keeps my gut calm. Maintence dose for me 1 heaped tsp twice a day in small glass of warm water mixed thoroughly & I drink straight away doesnt taste of much can be gluppy When ulcerative colitus is active or I have bleeding from either UC or internal haemorroids I take multiple times daily after each motion until im back to normal. I do have regular colonoscopies.
