Fujifilm Finepix Jx500 Silver 14mp Digit

Outdoor pictures were very good if not excellent, indoor pics were dark and grainy even with flash but closeups were terrible. Grainy and blotchy, almost looked like they were taken thru several windows, color was mostly red with patches of colors that made a face look fake! We did try all settings, all distances and all sizes, still very bad closeups. Wanted to upgrade our old Fuji camera E500 but it turns out that old one is far superior. Returned camera.

Seems to be a great camera so far. There are a lot of options within the camera to change different settings, but easy to set. You could put it on one setting and never really have to change it. Seems like a good replacement for my Kodak, which no longer was compatible with my computer. The camera seems to work properly with Windows 8, which is why I had to replace my Kodak. Comes with everything in the box to get started right away. Took me a day to figure out that I was putting the battery in wrong, probably would of help if I read the booklet enclosed.

Great camera for the price. I have been looking for a camera that was small enough to put in my pocket or purse...this is it and the price was great. I purchased when it was the value of the day. Under $60 shipped. You just can't beat it!

The camera is of better quality than expected for the money. I had problems initially with the handbook of instructions; the booklet itself leaves a lot to be desired because of the small print and lack of detail. I have ordered a back up battery and portable charger for my convenience (not included with the product). Pictures are clear and the camera easy to use.

When I received my camera I immediatley charged it which took exactly 44 minutes and it was ready! I love it-very easy to use and change modes depending on what you are taking a picture of. The 2.7" LCD display is more then enough space to view. I believe even my grandmother who is 93 years old could use this with ease! The small compact size makes it easy to take whith you everywhere.
