My dog was shedding like crazy and she has short, coarse fur. I tried 3 dog brushes but nothing would actually pull the fur off. I gave up and would scratch her all over and then vacuum the loose hairs. I was hesitant to pay $20 for a dog brush, but this is worth all that money. It's so easy to use that my five year old does it. The dog loves it too! GREAT PRODUCT!

And I love it too! Bucky sits so still while I comb him and the comb catches the loose hair in it's teeth. Cuts way down on the shedding.

Definitely gets that extra hair that can't be taken off by a regular pet brush. Both of my dogs shed hair, so I bought this in order to help with that problem. Comparable to the Furminator (which was $45.00 at the pet store).
