Gap Home 16-Piece Striped Rim White Stoneware Dinnerware Set

This 16pc dinnerware set is gorgeous. It is heavy stoneware. The simple blue design along the outside is elegant yet subtle. I personally don't use these for everyday use as I'm too afraid they'll be broken by my son. They're too heavy for him to safely carry around if needed. For me personally we use these during holidays. They are dishwasher and microwave safe. My husband loves the tumblers (we call coffee mugs). If I had older children I'd be using these as an every day set. We do use the bowls regularly since they're perfect for cereal and soup. They hand wash easily and the design hasn't faded after use. This is a beautiful dinnerware set that can be used for a multitude of occasions or everyday use.

I received the GAP HOME 16-PIECE STRIPED RIM WHITE STONEWARE DINNERWARE SET at no cost. The following is a true and unbiased review. Really dresses up the table. Can be utilized as everyday or special event dinnerware as long as your dinner list doesn't exceed a total of four. Of course you can add to the total with additional sets. The color isn't exactly white, more of an off-white. Each piece has substantial weight to it. The design is not just painted on, it's more of a colored indentation. Washes up real nice.

The detail of the set of dishes is absolutely beautiful. I think my favorite part is the blue is not a bright blue and it looks antique. The white etching sets it off. The dishes are on the heavy side so it feels like it's made well I can see myself drinking out of the coffee cups often. It almost had a look and feel of pottery. The set would make a nice display on top of placemats.

I can't say enough good about this stoneware dinnerware set! The quality, the color, the way it looks when I set my table! I plan to buy two more sets and these are my new everyday dishes! I didn't know that Gap had a home line and it is every bit as nice as you would expect! The blue is a rich color without being too bright or too dull. Very nice with the white design variation on the blue. I would definitely recommend this set...or two sets...or three sets!

This stoneware is very nice. I like the weight of it. Little on the heavy side but I think that helps bowls keep soup, stew or chilie warm longer. I especially like the size and feel of the mug in my hand. I am a coffee drinker so that's important. The pieces clean up very easily, too.
