Garanimals - Star Fountain

So I bought this toy for my 1 year old daughter. After finally getting the screws out and the batteries in (harder than it should be) I had to mess with them a bit so it would turn on. After getting everything back together, it was working great and honestly my daughter loves it!! But after the 4th time we used it in the bath I noticed the next morning there was still water inside it. After trying and failing to get all the water out I decided it was time to do a bit of further investigating. I took the back off to the batteries compartment and found that everything is soaking wet. All the batteries and the internal parts that are not supposed to be are soaking wet. I am very disappointed in this product and for how cool it was it was very short lived.

I don't understand all of the negative reviews. My daughter loves this toy!

it took my husband and i over an hour just to get the back off to put batteries in..it doesn't come with batteries. my daughter couldn't wait to play with it...after FINALLY getting the batteries in we placed it into the tub and pressed to turn on and it NEVER worked. the batteries were BRAND NEW from the package and so was the toy. this seemed like an amazing tub toy and it was HORRIBLE. not only was my daughter upset because she waited for an hour but my husband and i were VERY aggravated with the hour we wasted in frustration working as a team trying to get the stupid back off. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!

I don't if this toy is good or not, can't unscrew the back cover. The screws move but won't open.

This nifty little toy was a great idea to transition my toddler into the bath-if only it would work. Unfortunately it stopped working after just 2 uses. It's in the bag to return to the store. You get what you pay for.
