Garmin Forerunner 201 - GPS watch - running

I purchased this Garmin for my husband who is a trail runner. Before he had a chance to use it, he learned from others that it does not receive a gps signal through the trees. It was a great price but we returned it and bought a higher level Garmin. It may work well for road runners, but not on the trails.

The Garmin Forerunner 201 is a great product. Since I love to run, I find it to be a great asset to my running. I am able to track my pace, time, and distance. I would recommend it to anyone who loves to run.

I use this product for hiking and it helps me to know the distance I am hiking as i hike for my health and to keep my diabetes in check.

fantistic training tool however the battery doesnt seem to last long ,maybe about 2 weeks

I've used my Garmin in Korea, Iraq and the US. It is an excellent training tool. A must have for runners, in the last 2 years I have trained with it everyday. It keeps me on pace and tracks all my mileage. It can even track your route, pace and distance. The thing I love about it most is that it stores the history of your workouts and can even give you weekly tracking of mileage. One of the best investment I've made. Get one today!
