Only had for a day! So far so good. Superior upgrade from another well known manufacturer. Pretty design was concerned it would be too small a watch face but it's still large enough to see the various menus. Has a lot of features tells you what you've got on for the day once configured with your Apps. Recorded sleep accurately. Step counting seems generous but your stride can be changed. I have the rose pink which is a subtle pink with a rose gold trim. Hoping the watch continues to impress.
I was not aware that the face of the watch does not stay lit. I was hoping to wear it for workouts as well as working as a physical therapist assistant and needing a second hand to take pulse and respirations. The face doesn't stay lit more than 10-15 seconds which makes getting vitals tricky. I found it best to use my old "real watch" for this. For a watch face that stays on, look at the Venu or Forerunner series.
For being a fitness watch, I'm having a hard time getting it to track anything useful related to my fitness. For example, after I connected to my phone and started my walk with a double tap, I found after 50 minutes, it somehow didn't actually track the walk… this has happened many many times now in the two weeks I've had the watch. Subsequently, it doesn't track any intensity minutes if you're not tracking an activity. I ran up and down a sled hill with my kids, but since I didn't track that as an activity, it doesn't track it as intense. I'd love to ask for a refund.
I really liked the look of the Garmin Lily and the round watch face. But disappointed that swiping didn't always work from one screen to the next so had to really tap on the face. If you accidentally get on to the activity screen the only way out is to start, stop and delete the activity or else that screen stays until this is completed. Would be good to have a “back button”.
I did not want a watch that functioned as a phone or music listening devise and this is it. Straight-forward tells time and tracks activity. Stopped wearing wristwatches ages ago and trying to get used to having something on my wrist all the time. Seems it drops out periodically and not sure why but it appears to be after charging. Yoga tracker -- I do chair yoga so it doesn't quite track the activity. Have had to use the "other" activity to track my housekeeping and gardening activities. Not sure how accurate that is. But, I'm not tethered to my phone all day nor is there any monthly fee so this works OK for my purposes.
