Garmin n??vi 1350T Automobile Navigator

I needed a GPS for work & living in a new city found a great dealon the 1350LMT. In the brochure it said some had a bluetooth feature-this one did not. I took advantage of their return policy. They don't have any of the 1490LM here in NY but 10 at my home store in Texas. Fly home next week and will pick one up.

This is great unit, and the price is right. Voice announcement of street names and turn instructions are very clear. Maps are very good and up to date. The only reason for not giving 5 stars on the Quality was that the touch screen is a little touchy, but once you get used to it, its not a real problem. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

This is the second Garmin I have purchased. It's the worse. The first one was great but you had to purchase annual updates and they were expensive. This Garmin as free updates. However, the 12V power supply that was supplied was defective. I called Support and they required return of the bad power supply and said it would be several weeks before I got a new power supply. So that means I can't use my Garmin on long trips. I can charge it with my computer, but the batteries don't last more than 2 hrs.

Garmin is the best GPS! Start up on the 1350LMT is much faster than my old Garmin and it has several new useful features. With that said, getting the numerous pop up advertisements on the screen is very disappointing. I will never understand why companies (Garmin included) would think that after paying a good chunk of money for a product, that we would be expected to put up with a constant bombardment of unwanted advertising. I expect, and you should too, that this "feature" be deleted by Garmin or be easily turned off by the user. I'm not sure why the screen goes partially blank when it is recalculating the route, typically this is when you need to see the map to be making good decisions on the fly. This glitch needs to be fixed in a software upgrade.

I just love my new GPS. It is just so easy to use and the directions are clear and easy to understand. I like the lane assist, the price is great for so many features. It is just the right size. Now I can travel and not get lost in towns that are dificult to navigate. With all the new road construction that are always going on , I seem to take a wrong turn every time I travel to a large city and it is a stressful trip. Now it is relaxing and stress free. The dash mount that was included worked great and I had no problem with it and a USB cable and car charger was also included.
