Garmin n��vi 200 - GPS navigator - automotive 3.5"

This piece of equipment has already done a wonderful job. The only problem with it, is that if you use it around a small town it may not know all of the roads until you are on them, and also the newest roads that are built may not be on your map. Sometimes it likes to take roads that aren't the shortest way, but I took my normal route against what the GPS said and since then it has realized that I want to go that way and it will chose that direction now. I also like how easy it is to use. I bought it for my girlfriend who is not tech savvy at all and she was afraid she would not now how to use it, but she says it is really simple. I am anxious to use it for a long distance trip for somewhere that I have never been before.

I love the turn by turn the maps the recalculation of route and gas station finder etc. I just found the car mount useless havent mounted mine do not plan to. I also found that there are not a lot of downloads for this product on the Garmin site. This is not one of the higher end products they sell of course. Maps to find businesses by name are old but so many things are moving and closing down its hard to keep up Im sure

I had this item up and running in just a few minutes and could not wait to get it on the road. My first attempt was to a familiar place so I could judge its efficiency. It got me there easily but told me the address was on the right side of the street when it was actually on the left. I purposely took a wrong turn and it recalculated to get me back on track. Liked it.

This device is great, extremely user friendly, a dog could set it up. you turn it on it locates the satellites and the rest is history. as easy to use as surfing the internet. very detailed maps, voice directions are helpful. the daytime and nighttime lighting setting make it easy to use at night while driving and seeing the road. for the online price of 115 bucks you can't beat it.

I already had a Garmin that I bought last year, and there have been times when both drivers in our home have needed to use it. With the wonderful Walmart price, we splurged and got another one. The voice on the new one is less snooty, and I don't feel as stupid when I miss a turn.
