Garmin nüvi 50LM Automobile Portable GPS Navigator

Just received this Garmin Nuvi 50LM...registered it & loaded the maps. Took on a trip within a couple days & it preformed great. It is the 5" so we really liked the larger screen...and the inset that comes on when changing a route is GREAT. It lets you know exactly how many lanes you're turning on to & how they're set up re: median, merging traffic, etc. The price was excellent & since this is our second Garmin, had the other one almost 5 yrs., I expect for it to last at least, if not longer, since we have the updated maps included.

This GPS was totally easy to use. I just plugged in to my computer to install maps, finished in less than 20mns downloading. I plugged to my car and it's super easy to use. I love that it speaks out the street names I need to turn to. It also shows me an image of what the street/sign looks like on the highway. Couldn't have asked for a better GPS, great value too!

This product as is is not useable. you have to buy a wire to hook it to the cigarette lighter and an attachment to hook it to the windshield So we send it back and we bought a Tom Tom from target at the same price but with all the needed parts to operate properly.

I have not used it completely yet but so far for the little time I have had it i enjoy it. The screen is big enough for me just do not like how the charger fits in the back instead of on the side. My other thing is getting the stand to stick on my dashboard but other then this the gps itself is good. I will text it out on my road trip today so excited lol

I have a Garmin in all four of my cars and this one is the most efficient.
