This conditioner is great for black hair. It should be marketed for black hair. Because when I use it. I use less product because my hair got its oils in the conditioner. I am thinking people who already have oily hair will hate it. But if you need oils its great. Plus no cones.

This is the first time I've ever written a review on any hair products. By far, this condition (and only the conditioner) has given me my worst hair-conditioner experience ever. First off, weighed down my hair very much and it felt very greasy. I have to blow-dry my hair and straighten it every time I wash my hair and I wanted to throw up because my hair smelled like fish-oil. As if I just pore some omega-3 oil into my hair. It stunk so bad and I had to get back in the shower and re-shampoo my hair 3 times to finally get the smell out and also to take out the oily-residue feeling. It took so long that I ended being late to work. Yesterday, I gave the conditioner a second chance and only used a few small amount on the ends of my hair. The only reason why I remembered to do this rating is because I just put my hair up in a bun and I can smell the fish oil on my hands. It's pretty disgusting. If only I had my receipt, I would try to return it to the store I purchased it from. Instead, I'm just planning to dump it in the trash. The shampoo on the other hand was fine.

I tried the Pure Clean system, which meant I used the Pure Clean shampoo and conditioner in unison, as it recommends. Firstly, the shampoo stripped nearly all the oils and moisture from my hair. After applying this conditioner and hoping for replenished moisture, it does NOTHING! I feels like I haven't used any conditioner after rinsing it off. I would definitely not recommend this conditioner to any hair type.

Well, I'm confused by the good reviews on this product. I purposely signed up on this site just to leave my review. I thought this conditioner was awful. I re-read the bottle three times just to make sure it actually said "conditioner". It did not leave my hair soft or tangle-free. I normally really like Garnier Fructis products, but this one is a total miss. Now I'm stuck with a whole bottle of it!
