Garnier Fructis Pure Clean Shampoo and Conditioner, for Adults, All Hair Types, Holiday Beauty Gift Set

I always used the Daily Care shampoo and it was perfect. I hate that they changed it to a 2 in 1 because I don't always want a conditioner. So I switched to the Pure Clean. When it had the citrus extract it was fine. But then they added aloe and it feels like putting floor wax on my hair. It's a terrible awful product and I'm putting an almost full bottle in the trash. I have no idea why this company feels the need to mess with perfectly good products, and why they feel that every product needs to cater to dry, damaged, colored, frizzy hair. My hair is just normal. That's it. And I just want it to feel clean. I really don't think that's too much to ask, but Garnier Fructis seems to think it is. So now I'm off to experiment with different brands. Too bad since I've been with this company for years.

I wanted to try this shampoo as it was Allred as silicone free but even with silicone shampoo my hair has never felt so weird! As soon as I rinse it out it feels like my hair is coated in wax! It’s disgusting. I’ve used it five times and I’m ready to throw the bottle away!

Dont want all the "flavored' shampoos' (sleek and shine, or with this or that, etc..etc,) just want the originL pure clean with citrus extract. Discontinued? ..... time to find another shampoo. garnier takes up so much shelf space in the stores with too many fantasy flavors (probablly all the same thing basically.). really tired of it.

My daughter was using the original Pure Clean shampoo for normal to oily hair before this new formula came out. Her hair is quite oily and the original Pure Clean was the ONLY shampoo that cleaned her hair properly. The new formula leaves her hair looking unwashed and dirty. Since it took us about three years to find a shampoo that works for oily hair, I am extremely disappointed that Garnier didn't do better market research to determine the necessity for a change in formula or even the removal of the existing formula.

I loved the old Pure Clean shampoo formula ... I would use it a few times a week to rid my hair of any built up styling product residue. I am so bummed that the old formula is no longer!! The new aloe formula is awful! It makes my (naturally curly, DRY) hair feel super oily and greasy! It weighs the hair down way too much! I will not be using this product anymore and will Be searching High and low for a suitable replacement for the original :(
