Gatorade Recover Chocolate Ready to Drink Protein Shake 11.16 oz Plastic Bottle

I was drinking my protein shake and after a couple sips I had to spit it out cause I felt weird chunks come from the bottle. When I spit it out I saw that they were a bit lighter than the drink itself and the chunks varied in size. I don't know what it is and I can't tell if it's expired or not. There's no expiration date on the bottle. I just got it today not that long ago, so it couldn't have expired in my fridge.

Good taste, no strong after taste - high protein. A little high on sugar. I have a hard time opening the bottled though as the plastic seal is not perforated - and find the lip of the bottles to be kind of sharp. Full disclosure- I have scleroderma and have chronic pain and inflammation difficulties with my hands. I have to push/peel the plastic sleeve below the cover to get the cover off.

I love the convenience of these , the flavor of the chocolate isn't that bad either . I do usually like mine blended with ice but I just tried this chilled as is .one thing I will say is this isn't for those that are looking to stay on a low carb high protein diet as this has 46 grams of carbs and 20 grams of protein. That's why I knocked off a star ,giving this a 4/5. If they had a lower carb one I think it would be more desirable overall . I'm also not a big fan of the carrageenan that is often found in chocolate drinks ,especially protein powder. If you're just looking for something that is a quick grab for on the go protein then I'd say this is a good one . [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

It is so amazing it has a delicious taste and it fills you up and gives you energy right after your workout I had to share with my sister and brother who run track and they absolutely loved it right after there race ... I went ahead and bought more flavors because they are so freaking amazing but my favorite one is the cookies and cream it's of the best for my preference I prefer to drink it cold. I go to the weight room at least 3 times a week and I'll admit that I'm pretty picky with my protein shakes. However, this drink did surprise me with the taste. I got the chocolate flavor and it really didn't taste bad. If taste of the protein shake is important to you, definitely give this shake a try. It tastes like a chocolate milkshake with no weird aftertaste. It also wasn't too thick, which I personally like! The shake does have a lot of sugar in it, so use sparingly. If you're in a hurry and need a drink post workout, these are nice to grab and go. Grab and go for this product is convenient, but opening...not so much. I found that opening the bottle wasn't very convenient. It took longer than expected to take the plastic wrap around the cap off, and there is also a foil seal after taking the cap off. I put ice inside of the bottle too make it cold before drinking because I think it tastes a lot better cold! The drink is 280 calories per bottle, and one bottle is about 11.16 FL OZ. Although it's barely 12oz, I found it to be pretty filling. I would buy this product again, and would recommend it to those who need a post workout drink and care about the taste of the shake.
