Gazelle Edge Glider Home Fitness Exercise Equipment Machine w/ Workout DVD

I bought this machine a month ago and my husband and I use it daily. It is a lot of fun but the right side makes a grating noise with every step. I cannot see why it is doing this but I hope it can be fixed because the noise is bothersome and takes away from the great workout.

We got ours a week ago. We started the catabolic diet plan and are doing twenty minutes a day on the gazelle. We need to lose a lot of weight and gain muscle. This machine has been easy on the joints. I have degenerative disk disease and this has helped ease the pain as well.

I read several reviews before purchasing the Gazelle, and while some people seemed to have assembly issues, I found it fairly easy. I did read through the directions first, and took everything out of the box first, before assembling it. It took about 20 minutes total. I have knee problems, but needed a form of exercise that wouldn't be too high impact. This machine is quiet, does not take up a lot of space, is easy to move around, and offers a comfortable walking motion. My knees are still moving, but without the impact of when I walk on roads. I live out in the woods, so winter is a difficult time for walking in New Hampshire. The Gazelle lets me enjoy my exercise while I watch TV or read. No need to turn up the volume, since it's so quiet. The range of motion is quite good, so long strides are possible, and with the hand bars in use, a fairly good cardio work out is possible too. If you want to exercise without spending a ton of money, I recommend considering this machine.

Gave this as a gift to our son, who told us there was very little assembly required. He is extremely happy with the Gazelle. It gives him a great workout with no stress on his knees or shoulders. He also loves that it doesn't take up a lot of floor space, and folds up when he needs to move it. Happy we bought the top-of-the-line Supreme model, which is priced very low at Walmart.
