GE - 1.4 Cu. Ft. Built-In Trash Compactor - Stainless Steel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works as expected since it replaced an identical model. Although the new model does not have a drawer handle which we miss tremendously. Otherwise good solid product.

Needed a new compactor fast and it was here quickly. It works great and looks slick. I love that the foot petal opens it and if you push up on it with your foot it compacts it instead of a dial so the front looks clean and it's 100% hands free!

I don't understand why Trash Compactors have such a limited selection - this is by far one of my favorite appliances, I actually have TWO, one for each side of the kitchen!

This compactor was installed 2 1/2 years ago and has stopped working. Had a certified GE repair out that said they didn't know what was wrong and they couldn't order parts or fix it. I will be contacting GE to see if they can help me with this!
