We shopped around a lot to find a replacement for our old freezer top refrigerator. This one fit the bill. Simple design, great reliability from a trusted manufacturer. We even had an awesome delivery experience. They were careful, kind, thoughtful, and fast to install and remove the old one. Very impressive. So far the refrigerator looks great (simple and clean design) in our space, and works as expected. Much cooler and more quiet than our old refrigerator. Couldn't ask for more for this price.
This refrigerator is exactly what we were looking for. It's designed to be taller and slimmer than other refrigerators we've had. It fit perfectly through our entrance door. The capacity fits our small kitchen and our family's current needs. We are thrilled with the affordable price of this GE appliance as we're very familiar with the brand and truly love it! Looking forward to having this fridge for many years to come.
I love the refrigerator itself. plenty of space and works well. What I don't like is how loud it is when it runs. Plus the feet to level it are stuck. Will have to work to get them to turn by putting refrigerator up on wood blocks or something. Thankfully it's not that bad.
This refrigerator is great. Except for a flaw in the upper freezer gasket. A gasket should always be flush with the mating surface, this refrigerator has two small plastic trim pieces that interfere with the seal I had ice building up in the upper left and right corners of the inside freezer compartment. I removed both plastic trim pieces and added a small piece of black gorilla duct tape, to cover the the metal 45 degree angle joint. I worked perfectly, no more ice buildup.
We just plugged it in around 1pm, it is now 8pm- so here is hoping that all will be well. So far the temp is only down to 49. Seems to be quieter than my previous fridge. Nice looking fridge- seems to be enough space for what I need, though my old fridge was a 20cu ft. I am very happy to have the deli drawer feature, as not many seem to have this. The freezer is roomier than I thought it would be.
