GE - 1.9 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Microwave with Sensor Cooking - Black Slate

I recently purchased a General Electric 1.9 cu.ft over the range , Microwave Oven with Sensor . There are many features that is offered, turntable that can be shut off, defrosting by weight or time. steam cleaning , Power levels that can be changed., Vent Fan and a stove light, and only 1000 Watts. The size of is similar to other manufactures. I highly recommend this to any body looking to purchase any new Microwave oven.

This microwave replaces an older model. It was installed quickly. I bought grey only because black stainless was not an option. The reheat function is pretty accurate at timing based on the volume of food. The controls are basically intuitive and easy to use. This model is noticeably noisier than the previous one.

The buttons on this microwave are hard to press in. They are not very responsive. Also appears that these same buttons will be the first thing to fail on this microwave. The price is right though.

I love this product. I previously purchased the same exact model 25 years ago and it was still working until a storm surge hit it and it was no longer working so I decided to purchase the same exact microwave although the model change is still the same features I'm hoping to have it another 25 years,

This microwave looks good, is a bit larger than our previous one, I like the controls better, and the fan choices are great! It has a Boost fan that is great for smoky cooking. The power is good too. No complaints. Our little local store doesn't have an installer, but had a phone # for someone they recommended. He did a good job.
