GE - 21.9 Cu. Ft. Top-Freezer Refrigerator - Fingerprint resistant slate

The top freezer door pops open all the time. It does not stay closed if it is closed too hard or soft. It also pops open if the bottom door is closed too hard. With teens in my house, even though they know to be careful, we have lost so much food due to freezer door being wide open all night long. There is also no light in the freezer.

Very pleased with the "Slate" colored stainless exterior. It is unique, and looks great with the dark green cabinets (still being painted, as seen in the photo) in my kitchen. Most of all, I am very pleased with the roomy, well-designed interior. You can see everything, since the shelves-including those on the door, are clear. The lines are straight, and no space is wasted. The freezer is also roomy and open. I read some reviews on the site where I ordered this that it was "noisy." It in NOT noisy at all. This is a second fridge in my house, and I am much happier with it than the more expensive, double-door, bottom freezer in the main kitchen. Highly recommended!

Other than the fact that it is quite loud while running and the interior light is not strong enough it is fine! Getting use to the areas I feel need work and actually did call about the interior light and was told the the LED light would get brighter as the time the door was open became longer. That is true but I do not keep the door open for long periods of time!

It has plenty of room for the two of us. It fits under our cabinets, which was important, so we didn't have to redo our kitchen. I would've given it 5 stars, but it seems to run a lot and it's noisy when it runs. Our old fridge died and this GE was the only one in town, without having to wait a month to order one.

I wanted to go back to the freezer on the top and food on the bottom with ice maker in freezer. This has a lot of space and is easy to see what is in the freezer. The first ce maker is very efficient.
