GE - 30" Built-In Single Electric Wall Oven - White

I like the way it looks, the ease of the controls along with an easy installation. I love GE products, this oven is replacing a 36 year old GE oven I installed when I built my home 36 yrs ago. The only parts I replaced were a couple of elements in all that time.

The capacity of the oven is ample size. The controls are easily viewed. The cooking overall is good. Functionality is ok, my oven still doesn't recognize the barcodes on foods, even the ones that are listed from A-Z. The oven temperature is steady and constant.

We love our new oven. The reason I did not give 5 stars is the grates are kind of difficult to move in and out of the oven. Maybe this gets better with time, but I've never had grates this difficult to move in any oven we have ever owned. It heats up well, the buttons are ergonomic and it has all of the features we were looking for in an in-wall appliance. The finish is beautiful and very easy to keep free of finger marks.

I just had my new oven installed and have not used it but I am pleased with how it looks. My old GE Profile oven was over 25 years old and I hated to see it go! But my new oven looks good in my kitchen with my other GE appliances in white-so far I am pleased with the product and I have always loved GE appliances!
