The GE wireless electric kettle with stainless steel finish matches the other appliances in my kitchen. It boils quickly and lifts off the hob with no annoying wires dangling behind. It has a water quantity guage at the back so I can see how many cups of water are in it. So far it has been reliable.

I loved this tea kettle when I bought it about two years ago and I used it several times a day. When it broke last month (not sure what happened, it just stopped working), I bought another one, because I could not live without it. (I keep forgetting the kettle on the stove - I really need the auto shut-off). However, after only one month of use, my new one has started leaking out of the bottom near the on-off switch. My old one did the same thing just before it broke completely. After two years of a lot of use, I kind of expected it to break, but not after one month!

After the water heats and it turns itself off you simply litt the kettle off the power source and can easily pour from the kettle wherever you wish without having to unplug the kettle. Very very practical. I highly recommend this product and you should judge other kettles versus this one.

Overall, I love this product. It does what it's supposed to do. It boils water in around 5 minutes. If I could change something about this product...I wish that the press button to start the kettle was a little more durable. Also, I wish it a little taller than it is wide. The footprint, I find a little too wide.

Holy moley this kettle gets hot and how. Kettle detaches from the base. It makes quite a racket when heating up in my small office but not for too long. It is big too. Fill it up once in the AM and you are good for the rest of the day. During the day if the water cools down just hit the button and you are off once again.
