GE - CYNC Smart Wire-Free Motion Sensor - White

I like to think that it's a very cheap but effective solution for mitigate potential break-ins. The sensor seems to work fine and I haven't had any issues with it, but you will need to buy the corresponding bulb.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received the GE Fund widescreen Smart Motion Sensor 1- Pack for testing and reviewing purposes I'm using the sensor as a walk in light when you first enter my house. I love the fact the lights pop on when we walk inside. For that purpose, works fine - I've got a GE smart bulb in there and they work together just fine. But that's the issue, this only works with the GE smart ecosystem. The sensor does NOT integrate with Google/Alexa, and it seems any device you sync up with it won't either, so count those out of your "smart home" if you're Google/Alexa based. For me, it didn't matter since the pantry is very standalone and I only need motion sensing. I do like the fact this is a wireless sensor that it is small and not noticeable. Can mount it wherever you'd like. Battery is holding up great, and the motion detection is spot-on.

The sensor came with battery included with a magnetic screw to screw into a wall. I am in love with the sensor, when I received mine I also received a smart color changing bulb as well. I had to download an app to connect the sensor and light bulb to my phone. And then connected the app to google home. I ended up not screwing my sensor and put it on my dresser instead since it has a flat bottom. I love how convenient the sensor is and I don't have to get up to turn my light on or off. I recommend it

We installed this inside a front window facing our porch area, and we replaced the porch light with a smart bulb and got everything working using the appropriate app. Works like a charm, as someone approaches our porch at night, the light comes on. It took a little while to get the sensitivity set just right, but that's only because I was a novice at this and I'm sure if I install any more of these in the house, which now seems likely, it will go a lot quicker.
