This was installed in our apartment last month when our previous dishwasher had failed. This is the best dishwasher I have used in my lifetime. I can't imagine how well they designed this product. So much space and height in both the bottom and top rack. Makes it super easy to load it can accommodate lot of dishes the way it is so smartly designed. I feel GE products have been very reliable in my experience. Best America brand product.

This appliance had been placed in a new model home which we purchased from the owner, never used. The dishwasher worked well at first, very happy with the product. However, after 1 year, both metal brackets on the spinning arm fell off. Pods also do not work well with this dishwasher, will leave grime all over dishes. After 2 years we have to move the dishwasher out every month as the pipes are clogged (I rinse dishes prior to putting them in), then the spinning arm was caught by the metal heating tubes and melted. All of our home appliances are GE but within the last year our appliances have had issues. They just don't make them like they used to.

It's a decent priced appliance. Lightweight makes for a rather easy installation. Securing it with the anchors seems impossible. Had to look up a video on how to attach the lower spray arm because it's not in the manual. The lower spray arm never stays attached during the cycle so dishes in the top rack rarely get fully clean.

The dishwasher is quite quiet. It is getting dishes clean but I do pre-rinse since I don't run it daily. I haven't yet found a spot where my bowls and mugs fit correctly and it's less configurable to fit pots and serving pieces than the unit it replaced. My soup spoons don't fit in the silverware slots. It doesn't hold as much. So, average but not exceptional.

I hadn't been looking to replace our 16 year old Maytag but the electric panel stopped working so we needed to. I ordered this GE dishwasher to match the GE oven we purchased last year. I am not happy with the cheap plastic interior and front handle. I do not like the set up of the interior; the prongs feel like there was no thought put into their placement with too much space for plate slots and not enough for bowls to fit all the way in. Also, the front rack corners are cut off (no 90 degree angle) so you lose the corner spaces. The top rack spaces are some wide that smaller items can fall through. Lower rack does not slide easily and gets stuck every time we need to slide it in. Admittedly, i chose the least expensive model, and there wasn't one in stock so I didn't see it in person. Regretting this purchase and wishing I had either bumped up in price range or gone with another brand. It's noisier than my 16 year one was. Cycles seem long at 3 hours with the additional drying time. Sure don't make appliances like they used to, and I'm only 48.
