I bought this after a storm knocked out power for a few days. It was easy to set up and start using. I used it to power chest freezers and refrigerators along with a few phone chargers. It keep things going well. It was loud but what do you expect from a gas engine. I also used it in the yard to power my electric chainsaw to clean up downed trees and it was more convenient than stringing out 300 feet of electrical cords. I would recommend it as a good choice if you want something that is better than the entry level portable generators.

I purchased this as a "when I need it" kinda thing. I use it on our camper when we are dry camping, as well as when we are at the cabin and need to service the quads and equipment. I have put roughly 15 hours on this unit and plan using it a lot more. Very pleased with the product that I purchased!

It starts the first or second pull even in cold weather. It is fairly quiet for the size. It puts out the advertised power. The only feature missing in the 3 KW version is an idle-down with no load. It runs full blast when on and has good voltage regulation with varying loads.
