General Electric Ge 2.1 Cu Ft Microwave Stnlss

While I love this microwave, the paint has started peeling on the bottom. Now I find that the cutout for the microwave in my kitchen was done exactly to accommodate this model. I'm stuck getting another with no information as to whether or not G.E. has fixed the paint issue.

I bought this when it first came out in 2006. Now, jan 2014 it has died. was a wonderful microwave. Lasted longer then others I have had in the past. I used it mainly for cooking dinners (Turkey, Roast, Chicken, and casseroles). I have had no complaints about this microwave as other reviews have had. Worked flawless for me. 

Have had this microwave almost 7 years and as for performance have had no problems like other reviewers have mentioned. Only problem encountered is that when you press the door release latch, the door sometimes will not open.

This micro is okay, but is of a quality that will not last beyond warranty period, if that long, and is not worth fixing.

I've had this microwave for about 7 years. It has functioned well, however I am also experiencing a problem with the paint flaking off the interior walls. Rust is now beginning to develop. I am going to have to replace the product.
