My granddaughter said she never had enough burp cloths with her first baby, so I tried to make sure she has enough with her second. Yes, they are diapers; but they are soft and easily washed, easy to carry anywhere and easily folded and stashed away after burps. Keep a few in every room!

I have 3 dozen of these I've been using on my newborn for the last week and a half. I washed them about 3-4 times before my baby was born and after a week and a half of constant use they still are leaving lint all over my 2 year olds diapers. I would recommend this for someone who doesnt have much money to spend. They are a great size for my newborn. When we are home I snappi these close and change him as soon as I know he has gone. I can't imagine using them on an older child though, they would soak right through them. If you want to buy something you can use for more than a few months I would look into higher quality diapers.

This item is called flat diapers, but the washed dimensions are about 18" x 21" and there is just no way you can make that fit on a baby bum. Flat diapers should be closer to 27" x 27". I bought a couple dozen, they are too big to be used as doublers and too small to be used as a diaper, I have plenty of rags and towels right now, so it was just a waste of money for me!

I bought a couple packages of these over 7 years ago when my first child was born. They lasted me through two children so far, and are still in great shape. I'm now expecting our third, and I still have them in the nursery. I'm buying another package just to add to them. Can't beat the price for how durable they are. The reason for mine lasting so long, however, is because I don't use them as diapers. I actually prefer these as spit-up cloths. They're very wide, and cover more of my shoulder when burping my babies. So much easier to pack in the diaper bag, too. Great space savers!!!

These are the same diapers my mom used on me, as I was allergic to the disposables available in the early 1980s. My daughter was in these exclusively until she entered daycare, then we still used them at home. She is four now, and we still have some of the diapers around the house, to clean with. These diapers will last through diapering, I had to start throwing them away because of staining I acquired using them to clean. About 30 of them, or more, can fit in a regular washer, and they take less than 30 minutes to line dry! A helpful hint: there are a lot of resources online to help you learn to fold these. Search for the oragami fold, and it'll get you going!
