The Birdseye diapers my kids wore began wearing out after 25 years and I loved them, bleached and sterilized, for dish cloths. So I bought more. Thin, wrinkly, poor quality, not at all what Birdseye diapers used to be. I was surprised because Wal-Mart makes excellent cotton t-shirts. But these are bad. Do not buy.

These diapers are, without a doubt, the worst diapers I have ever seen. And I am 64 years old so I have seen many! They are thin and flimsy, and if that wasn't bad enough, they shrank probably 40% when washed and dried. They might work on the smallest newborn but that's it!

I used these when my children were babies and they worked wonderfully. I liked the idea of NOT putting plastic on their behinds. If you needed to use 3 - 4 at a time to make them useful, I wonder if you neglected to use the plastic pants required along with the cloth diapers.

these wash well and hold up well, good absorbancy, but the one size option doesn't last as long as I had hoped. my son is only 4 months and 15 pounds and has now outgrown my entire stash of these. The price is right and they worked wonderfully while they fit, but maybe invest in different brands that offer sizing options! either way, these are a great way to intro into cloth diapering, not a big investment but you will need different larger ones later.

My daughter had a baby last month. She raved about all the plastic diapers someone had given her until she got these. I am a firm believer in regular diapers and plastic for emergencies or travel. My daughter uses these for multiple things. They are great for your shoulder to burp the baby and soft enough for baby's face. I do prefer cloth diapers which are NOT prefolded, but this made a great gift.
