I breastfed for 2 weeks then switched to similac formula. My son was crying a lot and uncomfortable. I had a sample can of Gerber gentle so I weened him off similac and put him on Gerber. He is a new baby, a lot less fussy, bowel movements are much less runny! I like the Gerber formula, he's growing and thriving!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

My daughter has required formula supplementation since birth since she was so big and we've tried a few different brands. Even ones claiming to be sensitive. She struggle with tummy pain so much it broke my heart. Since switching (it's been a week) she's smiling more and has much less tummy issues. I am so grateful. After exclusively breastfeeding for 6 months, we couldn't get her to even take a bottle. We solved that puzzle many $$$ later after 8 different types of bottles (she ended up taking the 1st one we bought...of course.) Then came the real struggle. Bother her older brothers were formula fed, and she had no time for any of the formulas they had taken with no issue. I think the taste is ok since the baby likes it. But this powder is too hard to dissolve! We need to prepare the bottle 10mins before the baby needs it, shake violently to make almost liquid. And today the undisolved mass was found in th nipple and block the flow! Can't believe it!

We had changed formula and bottles 3 times. My poor little guy had horrible gas issues and would stiffen up and cry for hours. We were at a loss and had no idea what to do for him. At his 2 month appointment, the doctor recommended Gerber Gentle. The change has been amazing. He is finally smiling and playful rather than crying and screaming. I just don't like the price, it is a bit more expensive than what we were on, however the extra money is well worth the more restful nights.
