Gerber - Infant Starter Bottle Set

well I just want to say that I think these bottles are good to use. I do prefer Platex Ventair, but these work just as fine. only thing that was disappointing when I received the bottles in the mail, the packaging was horrible. The bottles had gotten scuffed up and the box the came in looked like it been through alot. Other then that I would recommend this product.

I literally tried every bottle in the world....my baby wasn't latching onto the nipples of standard sized bottles, so i bought these hoping that they would work. The nipples get sucked flat somewhat easily so you have to pull the nipple out of the babies mouth a few times during a feeding, but otherwise great product....I am getting ready to upgrade to the 9 oz!

My husband and I were expecting our son several years ago and went to register. That is when we found that the selection of bottles was amazing. However, after much consideration and debate, we both decided on the Gerber set. Several things jumped out at us... and all of them proved to be true in the end. 1. the size of the nipple was appealing to child (in regards to breastfeeding/bottle feeding) 2. the shape of the bottle made it easy for our child to hold onto himself. 3. we were able to purchase the attachment to convert to sippy cup and 4. the fact that they were all the same color and size made it easy for quick feedings. There was no need to match up colors and nipples with lids and bottles. It was great! Unfortunatly, we hadn't planned on having another child so soon so we disposed of the bottles after our son turned 2 and had begun drinking out of a regular cup. Now that we're expecting again, we have no problem deciding on the Gerbar Bottles. They were a perfect choice for our son and they will be the perfect fit for our second!

I used these bottles with my first son and plan to use them with my second as well. The wide opening makes them so much easier to clean than regular bottles and when the child is ready they convert from a bottle to a sippy cup with handles and then without. Its great that I didn't have to buy a bunch of new sippy's when my son was ready to move on from the bottle. I still have all the bottles, lids, nipples and sippy attachments from my first son and they are in great shape.

I have used this system for my first 2 children and plan to use it for the third I am carrying! I am still using the bottles with the sippy lids for my 2 year old! They are a great shape for baby, east to clean because of the wide mouth, and versatil because of the sippy lids. I know you go though a lot of bottles and sippy's through the years, but it is nice that I didn't end up with a bunch of pieces that didn't match anything once the boys were off of bottles!
