The color is identical to the picture. This arctic terrain pollar fleece can be worn casually or even with a pair of nice jeans and dress shoes. It has been perfect for November chilly weather when I do not want to wear a coat. The fleece is very soft and has held up in the wash. I enjoy the front pocket and the easy to use front buttons.
