This product is excellent. It give you a smooth shave with no irritation and it help the razor to glide so easily that you don't need to worry to use more gel. That is because this gel has more consistency than others and your skin is every time protected by it. I've been using this product for several years and have been pleased with it's performance. I do wish it was a little cheaper as comparable products perform almost as well, however, this product seems to be superior as it tends to have strong propellant from the can. The gel has a light fresh scent and comes out of the can smoothly. This gel does seem to have a stronger moisturizing component than other brands, as my face feels smoother for longer. It has not caused any irritation on my face when applying, which I have experienced with other shave gels. I used my sample gel with a used blade on a 3 day old beard and the razor glided across my face smoothly and effortlessly with no irritation. The gel left my face smelling good and feeling cool. Gillette finally accomplished making the perfect shaving gel! This gel gives a much more comfortable shave and much closer shave than anything else I've used before, and from personal experience, I felt no need to use aftershave because the moisturizer inside of the gel did a great job of keeping my skin feeling fresh and not irritated. The gel leaves my neck feeling soft and cooled, however I can't say that it is any more moisturizing than others. I'm not clear on what differentiates this version from others. I think about shaving in a different way than I used to. I never thought much about shaving. My face has never been so smooth before. I tried Gillette Fusion Moisturizing Shave Gel. The gel adheres to your skin. My razor glides on my skin like it's teflon. The first time I tried this shaving gel, I thought I got a bad shave because I didn't feel nothing when I shaved. It's usually it a bumpy ride when I shave. I rinsed my face and was shocked at my skin texture. My face was soooo smooth. I don't understand how I got such a close shave and felt nothing.
