I have been using the Lavender Kids shave gel for a few weeks now and I am beyond impressed!! At first use, the shave gel is creamy and gentle and left a very close shave. The smell is very very subtle, I didn't really get a lavender scent, but it was still enjoyable. I haven't changed anything else in my shaving/moisturizing routine since starting to it, but my skin seems to be very moisturized and smoother than before using. First, I would like to say, that I received these products for free from Gillette for my unbiased review. My comments are true and honest based on my own personal experience. I have sensative skin, and it becomes red and bumpy after shaving from my single blade disposable razors. I am cheap, so I tend to buy for the price and not quality. These new razors by Gilette have really changed the game for creating top quality disposable razors! Forget about buying expensive razors with interchangeable heads, because all those features are included in this brand. From the tri blade razor head to the handle grips to the close smooth shave, this is definitely a great product! Pair the razor with the lavendor kiss shaving cream, and you will want to shave every day. My arms and legs are so smooth, and for the first time, I have no razor burn. Let me start off by saying that I hardly EVER use shaving cream which I know is awful. I just think it takes too much time to use if I'm in a rush, but every time I do randomly decide to purchase/use it I always ask myself why I don't use it all the time. I'm not saying this just because I was able to test this free of charge from Gillette, but I really did enjoy the shaving gel. It seems to not matter how MUCH you use because it will lather up nicely. Even if you chose to use a little dab (which I prefer) it leaves a layer on the skin that pairs nicely with any razor you chose to use. I also love the scent. Obviously if you do not like lavender you will not like the scent even though it isn't the pungent kind of lavender. It does smell very lovely though. I have noticed a difference when using the shaving gel and just using my body wash as my "shaving cream." It makes my legs feel a lot smoother and I tend to not cut myself as much especially when using a new razor. I'm sure thats the purpose of shaving gel though since I seldom use it ;) I really will repurchase this once it runs out since I finally got the message about shaving cream!
