A very good gentle shampoo for CURLY/WAVY hair. We have been using it in our family for the last past 5 months, and we all have had wonderful results. It does suds up, but hasn't dried out our waves or curls. It rinsed out clean and completely without residue left in your hair. It has a very light citrus fragrance, but very little fragrance stays in your hair. I would recommend this product.

This was wasted money for me because of the ingredients in it.

Love this stuff. Cleans really well and smells terrific ..like grapefruit. A little of this shampoo goes a long ways. I'm ultra sensitive to scents -get migraines from fake or chemical smells or perfumes. So have been very happy that even when I'm already migraining this shampoo doesn't escalate things. I have long (to my waist), fine textured hair, natural blonde going gray, tend to have a more oily than dry scalp. I get a perm every 2 years so appreciate how Giovanni treats my hair gently. I like to use the Giovanni Smooth As Silk Conditioner on the ends of my hair. Same great scent, nice, clean rinsing conditioner. And, as with the shampoo, a little goes a long ways as well. Added bonus: Swanson's has the best price I've found for Giovanni products.

I have had a hard time finding a shampo that does not irritate my scalp. This one is great. It also leaves my hair shinny and easy to manage. Only need a small amount to do the job. However the bottle design has some major flaws, mainly the cap. I have to transfer the shampo to another bottle.
