The first step is to insert "T" or "L" brackets into the chassis. The middle brackets had to be slightly fashioned because there is not enough room to get them inside the chassis wall. I took the middle bracket to the bench grinder and rounded off one corner and it would slip right. The instructions do not tell you the difference between the driver's side and passenger's side brackets. The is some flexion of these brackets when 190 lbs. step on them. The boards do move because of the gauge of metal used. I REALLY like the way the running boards tuck close to the body.

PRICEY. BOARDS ARE GREAT. EASY TO PUT ON. LOOK GREAT. ONLY COMPLAINT IS THAT I WAS SHORTED HARDWARE. HAD ENOUGH HARDWARE TO ONLY PUT ONE BOARD ON. LOCAL HARDWARE STORE TRIP REQUIRED FOR NUTS AND BOLTS. RECOMMEND DOUBLE CHECKING COUNTS ON HARDWARE, IF NOT GIVE EXTRA IF POSSIBLE.

No problems with Real Truck, super fast shipping, customer service was great to deal with. The reason for 3 stars is Go Rhino needs to pay attention to quality control. One of the brackets that secures the running board to the body brackets was missing a nut which is welded on. Real Truck quickly took care of this by shipping a complete new bracket set. The other issue I had was one of the running boards was warped and slightly bowed, as far as I could tell this was from sloppy manufacturing not due to shipping since both running boards come sandwiched together. I didn't bother to send it back because once I installed it I was able to get it flat and looks acceptable. This is by no means a reflection on Real Truck, just the manufacturer and for the price I'd expect better, far from perfect.

I put these on my 2015 F150 SuperCrew a few years ago, and immediately loved them. They were more expensive than other options, but I thought it was worth it for the Rhino protective coating. Fast forward and the boards are rusting and peeling everywhere. As much as I loved the initial look and functionality, I would never recommend these to someone. Unless you like having to swap out your running boards every few years, I would look elsewhere.

The look great, but it took over a month to get them and I kept being told that they would ship soon. After week three I told them That i need to cancel my order and get a refund or they need to ship ASAP and then I get shipping info the next day. Once it was received it had defective parts. They have been installed for 5 months and the Finish is peeling off in sheets. Not worth the money in my opinion.
