Gold's Gym Folding Exercise Mat

My husband purchased this mat for me when I got back into exercising. Our floors are really hard, so it was taking a toll on me. Originally, he had planned on just getting me a regular rolled yoga mat, but he decided that he liked this folding mat better. He figured since I wasn't taking it to classes that this would just be easier. It offers a great deal of cushion when exercising (like 21 Day Fix), doing yoga, and doing pilates. I like to use a yoga mat towel with it because it can get sweaty and sticky if I don't. The back of the mat has an anti-slip surface that works great on both carpet and hardwood/tile/laminate floors. When folded, the mat is roughly 24" x 9" x 4". When it's open, it's roughly 72" x 24" x 1/4".

this mat is thick and can be used on any type of floor. It makes any gym floor easier to exercise on as it gives you a thick cushion.

Bought one of these mats 3 years ago and loved it. But it looks like they starting cutting a lot of corners to reduce cost. It's now very slick and hard. It makes it hard to do yoga poses where you need grip like downward dog.

I was looking for an inexpensive mat for my baby to play on that could easily fold up for storage. I thought this would work but it didn't fold up well and isn't flat when on the floor. It may work well if a treadmill or exercise equipment is put on top of it, but didn't seem to work well otherwise. We returned it.

The prefect may for yoga, core training and self massaging. I highly recommend this product. I tell all my friends and clients about it.
