I looked at a lot of models on line. I saw this unit & read specs. then I checked pricing of unit & was 50.00 cheaper at walmart. Even shipping to home was very inexpensive. I put unit together, fairly simple & all hardware was there. I use it everyday with 12 different workouts plus Ifit disc can be used. Is working well & I am very satisfied with this recumbent bike.

Pros: One (handicapped) man assembly took 1.5 hours (instruction recommend two people to assemble and this would definitely help) Simple, Quiet operation Changing Resistance Levels, on the fly, requires just pressing a button Solidly built; no flimsy welds or cheap bolts Seat adjustment done by a man with nerve damage in the adjusting hand stays as set Resistance levels appear to be consistent with those of commercial gym bikes A nice dozen pre-programmed workouts Cons: The bikes electronics: Heart Rate readout is grossly inaccurate Calories burned readout is inaccurate Elapse time and Miles Ridden readouts are accurate This is a good, solid bike, especially for the money. I use a watch-style heart rate/exercise monitor so the Cons listed above are of no importance to me; I knew of this shortcoming going in, and simply wanted a mechanically solid bike, which I got. It should also be noted that I only use quality, alkaline batteries, and I DO NOT use the fan. I've been using this bike for an hour a day, seven days a week, for 6 weeks now, and the batteries are still going strong! All in all, a good bike for the money!

This company has great customer service. I contacted them after using the bike once to ask if the overall resistance could be increased by mechanical adjustment. Received a return email the next day with exploded parts diagram complete with instructions on how to modify the factory setting. For me, the bike did not offer enough resistance in any of the workout programs and would not otherwise have been useful for an aeorobic workout. I was totally shocked and pleasantly surprised at this level of competance and service, a rare experience these days. And the bike is very quiet, do get the adaptor from Radio Shack suggested in the above reviews (it is essential!).

Not simple to put together but easy enough that I built it by myself (I'm not handy) in an afternoon. Start with 10 min a day and it goes by in no time. Darn bike has a little tray below the water bottle holder that I don't have the slightest idea what it's for!

READ REVIEWS BEFORE BUYING! NOT RECOMMENDED. I also made the mistake of not reading reviews before purchase. I bought this bike for my teenage daughter w/ high expectations considering its Golds Gym. She used it twice and batteries were drained. Adapter cost around $25.00 from manufacture. Display monitor doesnt not give you alot of options. Display doesnt turn off so it drains batteries constantly. Resistance doesnt always work. 3 days after we bought it, bike was beeping over and over for no reason and the display was blinking. Called manufacture and they told me they had problems with the programming on this bike and that they would need to send me a programming chip to update the bike. But it would take 4-6 weeks for me to get the chip, taking back and doing my homework this time around. Highly disappointed.
