Put it together, motor was very loud. Turned it off, tried to start it and it wouldn't turn back on. Eventually figured out it needs to be kick started on. Called the company, they sent a new motor. Was told it was easy to install. Was not the case, will be returning this piece of junk.

A family member bought the more expensive model from Gold's Gym and I was really impressed with it. So I thought I would try out this less expensive model. It has most of the same features of the more expensive one except less programed workouts. It is fairly quiet unless you have the speed up and are jogging. I like the fact it has a heart monitor built in so you know if you are in your workout zone for burning fat. The only problem I had with it is, Fed X dropped it on my porch, busting the motor casing and the hood. I called the toll free number and received replacement parts within 10 days. The parts were easy to replace and the company was very concerned and went all out to help me.

I was very disappointed in this treadmill. As an avid runner, the belt was not wide enough for running, and likely more apt for walking. The side rails of the belt also were not flushed and were slightly raised and it appeared that if your foot hit it while running, a fall would result. Needless to say, the only good thing about this purchase was Walmart's return policy.

This treadmill is just what I had in mind for me and my 85 year old mother. Now we can excerise at home on our time schedule. The only downside is the many pieces it arrives in and the complicated instructions. Good thing it comes with a technicians number to schedule an assembly appointment. Well worth the extra money!

When my husband put this treadmill together he noticed the motor cover was cracked but said it shouldn't affect it too much, just maybe some vibration. So he finished assembling it and we turned it on but it just made a bunch of noise and nothing happened. He took the cover off the motor and the motor had broken parts and it wasn't lined up with the belt, also several clamps were broken. I don't really know if the treadmill is a piece of garbage or if FedEx dropped it a few times before delivery. We returned it to Walmart and exchanged it for the 420 which is much better and not that much more expensive than this one. So far we are very satisfied with the 420.
