50 gallons does not go as far as you think, fills very quickly when the roof surface area is slightly large. The middle spigot is too high on the barrel so you don't get to use much of the water and the lower spigot is too low for filling watering cans. I bought two and will return one. And it's cubby and takes up a good amount of space.

Looks good but that's the extent. Valve connections to the water barrel do not go in easily nor securely. Getting the valve tight also means it is difficult to open because the texture of the barrel interferes with the smooth operation. There is a small opening in the top to fill with rain and unless the barrel is being drained into from the roof, it does not fill easily. I've had three deluging rains which have barely made it to the bottom valve. The planter is nice. It catches more rain than the barrel.

Rain barrel is made of good material and is sturdy. Faucets made of brass and came with a small roll of silicone tape. Threads of the faucets and barrel are well cut but care must be used to prevent cross threading. The faucet discharge volume is slow due a small valve opening. Get a better faucet from a big box store if water flow is a concern. In spite of concerns this is a good value and will buy a couple more.

Waited over two months for it to arrived. I missed majority of the summer. I wanted this to water my outdoor plants. It definitely must be connected to your cutter to collect rain water. I wouldnt suggest planting a flower on top unless you put it in a pot. Itll drown

Does not come with a diverter for downspout. Only has a screen covering the opening in the barrel. Will need to buy a diverter, or set up so that you can reroute the downspout when the barrel is full. If no diverter is in place, there will be a lot of sediment at the bottom of tour barrel. Looks nice, quality is good.
