i bought this for my daughter as a Christmas gift because it was her first winter driving so i know she will be safe

This is a kit that I would recommend everyone keep in their vehicle’s trunk. It contains everything you would need in an emergency situation and all of the components are top quality. Thank you Goodyear. You have included everything in a durable, compact carrier - including a folding shovel, jumper cables, flash light, blanket, etc, etc. I’d suggest you check it out for yourself. The Goodyear Winter Safety Kit with Booster Cables, Snow Shovel & Roadside assistance has come at just the right time in Wisconsin. It has already been snowing here and it is really easy to slide off the road and this kit has really made me feel better about driving in these conditions. This kit comes with an emergency shovel, Snow brush and an ice scraper so you’ll be able to get yourself out if your car drives off the road. I have seen it many times where people drive off the road and they are just stuck there because they have no tools in their car. I really like how everything comes in a nice bag to keep it all organized and together. This kid also comes with booster cables, a blanket and a flashlight. These are all really essential items to have with you at all times and not just for snowy winter problems but for all year around problems as well. This kit also comes with a pair of knit gloves that are going to be essential when being out in the snow especially when you need to dig your way out of the cold snow. An extra awesome plus that comes with this kit is a full year of roadside assistance that is available 24/7.

I haven't had to use this yet but I'm happy to have it in my car in case I need it. Everything looks good and isn't that big so doesn't take up much room in the trunk. I have it under one of the passenger seats in the back and it fits perfectly there. You can also put it off to the side in your trunk and not worry about it taking much space away from whatever else you put in the trunk of your car. It sure brings peace to my mind knowing if I ever needed it I have it in my car and not relying on someone to have something like this to help makes me have kess anxiety. I would recommend to any one thinking of getting something like this for their car. My sister will be buying one for herself as she thought it was a great idea to be prepared, especially with how the world is. I will be buying it for my eldest son to keep in his car once he starts driving. It could be a good gift to give as a present or gift for any holiday. I love it comes in a bag to keep everything nice and tidy.

I love this little (not so little) kit. It contains about everything you can think of for a winter emergency in a small blue bag. Nice to have in your car for winter emergencies. It contains a thin felt- like warm, black throw-blanket, jumper cables, ice scraper and snow-ice brush, thick woven gloves with palm grippers, an LED flashlight with batteries included. It even has a compact snow shovel! The kit includes a year subscription to 24/hr emergency roadside assistance, with a maximum 3 time use and $100.00 each use max total. What is not to like? The canvas zip up bag itself is attractive and on one side has written, 'Goodyear Winter Safety Kit', on the other side is a reflective caution triangle. This is a perfect gift for yourself of others for sure, especially if they live where it snows, it is a must to have in your car. I highly recommend this Goodyear Winter Safety Kit! Only con I find is the tiny flashlight in the kit, even though it is powerful LED, it is very small. It also would be nice if the instructions for using jumper cables were inside the kit instead of written on the bottom of the outside of the disposable packaging. I guess one could tear the instructions off the bottom packaging themselves, and keep them for reference inside the kit though. After I read the instructions, I learned that I had been dangerously jumper cabling cars, when need through the years, very wrongly!
