Protective Housing (HERO8 Black)

We've been through three of them now. On land it works great but when you get to about 35 feet the compression is just enough you can't turn the camera on/off or take a picture. Both were replaced free of charge, but the only work around has been stuffing something under the camera. Disappointing at best since we haven't had the camera for that many dives.

Used the enclosed housing while floundering on a guided flounder trip. I wish I would have worn ear protection while on this boat that uses a loud air motor to hunt for the flounder. The enclosure was put to the test & passed with barely any noise on the recorded fishing trip.

Putting it to the test in October, when we visit the Maldives, it's better made than the generic housings, 1 extra locking mechanism, and worth the money.

I've had this GoPro 8 barely going on 3 months and it's not working. I charge it and no red light comes on and it won't power on. Really? Is it truly “no hassle” life time warranty? What a scam!!

The case is awesome - really adds an extra level of protection - but the sound quality of the camera is just garbage with this thing on. Everything I record sounds like it's underwater or in a tunnel. Great protective case; terrible allrounder.
