I bought this based on other reviews since I use a straightener and have thin hair. I love this stuff! After blowdrying my hair, I sometimes have to straighten my hair. Before I used a few products that were a bit pricier and they still left my hair looking not so smooth. I purchased this a few weeks ago and have had nothing but great hair days when I use it. I spray a few sprays on, let it dry completely, then straighten it. My hair is instantly smooth on the first run through instead of doing 4-5. To the people who said it made their hair smoke, I had that happen before on another product I used to use and found out I may have sprayed it one time to many. Not saying that's what they did though. The buildup of the product in the hair after spraying it in and the chemicals in it will react that way. I learned that from my stylist after asking her why it did that. I will continue buying this and highly recommend to everyone.

My hair is very soft after use with the iron and I my hair lasts longer when used the Garnier so I'm very pleased with this purchase

I can't say it enough, I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this stuff!! I recommend this product to anybody who applies heat to their hair!! It's called a Flat Iron Balm, but honestly, I recommend it whenever you use heat. Before you blow dry your hair, curl your hair, straighten it, heck, even if you spend a whole lot of time in the sun. It's so good to your hair. It smells great too, it keeps your hair from getting that burnt hair smell. It's also great because it protects up to 425 degrees. It leaves my hair super shiny, and soft. If you're skeptical, it's under $5, just give it a try, you won't regret it.
