GPX Portable CD Player, PC301B, Black

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have purchase this item eight times in eight years and probably have 3 still in use although two are packed away with my recording or performing equipment or in my suitcase so I have it when I travel. I honestly cannot remember 5 of them failing but it's been eight years and I keep buying them. They will accept an AC power source so you don't need batteries and make a perfectly good inexpensive replacement for a failed CD deck in any component system or boom box as long as there is an AUX input port. My most recent unit is now playing through my Boze Wave.

This cd player is so bad. It took me forever to find batteries that worked and then to find out it needs an AC or DC power adapter?? That's NOT included. I wish I looked into it more honestly no one has those things laying around.. I did manage to find a DC adapter in my house only for it NOT TO FIT the cd player. Honestly planning on returning this and looking for something better this was not worth the wait it took to get to my house

This is the first disappointing merchandise I have purchased from Walmart. The CD player is poor quality. So far, I am unable to get it to function at all; not willing to give up trying just yet. The price was very attractive, but perhaps just way less than a well-performing player would cost. I have made a decision to replace it with one that I can shop for in the store-to assure quality before buying.

The item did not work. When trying to return Walmart.com always returns an error. Tried two different sets of batteries. The cd player will not spin much less play cd's. DO NOT BUY!!!!

cd skips. Had to return to the store. found a better deal on amazon that works perfectly, has a radio, and only 9.15 with shipping.
