Graco - Cargo Booster Car Seat, Reid

I had read many great reviews and chose this carseat for my child. She is 3 1/2, and very tall. I was hoping that it would be sufficient for her for a long time. Because of her height, she was already at the top notch for the shoulder belt, and the buckle between her legs was clear under her bum. Also she didn't have much room before her ears would have been clear over the top of the back-which would mean she's just plain too tall for it! I definitely didn't feel like it would last us until she was ready for the booster only, so I exchanged it for a seat that has an adjustable head rest and more custom adjustment options. I replaced it with an Evenflo Generations 65 I believe is what it was called. It has many more options to get a good fit for my daughter, and an adjustable headrest, so it can last her for many years! I paid $30 more for the other car seat, but i think it will be well worth the room to grow. Otherwise, no real complaints about this seat, but not big enough (tall) for what we need!

Got this seat for my 2.5 yr old daughter who was outgrowing her convertible carseat. I love that she can use the 5-point harness now and the car's seat belt later up to 100 pounds. She is tall for her age and fits comfortably with plenty of room to grow. It was super easy to install. My only complaint is with the included cup holder. It doesn't clip on as secure as the cup holders on our other Graco carseats. Overall, great seat and great price!

I found this booster over priced for what is really worth. even if Graco is a known brand, the recline feature is horrible: 1- to recline the booster you have to flip a piece of plastic under the booster. the problem is that when you tighten the booster with the safety belt, you can no longer flip it. More so if your child is on the booster, you need to unbuckle the seat to recline it. Even when you do so the whole booster tilts only 2 or 3 degrees towards the back, not really a reclining position. I don't think it is worth the hassle. Safety first' boosters have better recline position.

I had originally purchased this carseat online because of it's AMAZING price. When we received it in the mail, I was unsure if it was exactly what we wanted. --It wasn't quite as padded at we were hoping and it didn't actually recline. There is just a little plastic booster that flips under the front. --However, the cover is totally removable and washable, which is important when you plan on keeping it for a long time. It was a fine carseat, but eventually we decided to trade it in for one that was $20 more to get the extra cushioning and reclining for roadtrips. --I was VERY pleased with how easy it was to return. I bought the item online and had it shipped directly to my house, but all we had to do was take it to our local store and they gave us a gift card with the amount on it to use toward our next purchase. They took care of the rest. We left the store that night with our upgrade!

After researching safety recommendations and other parent reviews I bought this car seat and so far am happy with it. We've only been using it for about a month. My son looks comfortable in it, it was easy to install, the cover removes easily for clean up and if he falls asleep for the most part the sides are deep enough that his head doesn't fall forward. I feel this car seat is a bit more padded than many that I felt in the store providing a bit more comfort. Overall, I'm very pleased with this. We also own a Britax Boulevard........this Graco seat is much easier to figure out, lighter and more portable.....I guess price doesn't necessarily get you a better seat.
