Luckily my wife and I received this swing as a gift, because after the first month and countless batteries, the swing is already slowing down with brand new batteries. It makes a loud clicking sound the entire time it swings no matter how the stand is positioned or if it’s on carpet or tile. The one month that the swing actually worked, it just chewed through batteries. Do yourself a favor, spend the extra money on any another swing other than this one and that plugs in.

I have only used it a few days and it has been terrific! However, it keeps slowing down and finally stops. She's not very heavy and the batteries are new.
