I am so excited about this swing! I have been on the lookout for a swing that will fit all the criteria I know I will need, and the Glider Elite Gliding Swing (Pierce, Infant) is exactly that. This swing has three incline positions so I know I don't have to worry about propping up burp clothes to keep my baby's head from rolling down or to the side, I will be able to find a position that works best for him as he grows. Baby fits securely in the center and is surrounded by super soft and adorable padding to keep him safe. Something that is always number one on my list with a newborn is a vibrating bouncer. My most favorite feature of this swing is that it doubles as a bouncer! With three other children, I am always on the move. If I need to change locations in my house, I can keep him close to me be detaching the bouncer and taking him with me wherever I need to go. The vibration of the bouncer always keeps my babies sleeping soundly, and this swing/bouncer includes two speeds. I also really love that the swing can be powered by battery or wall plug in. This makes it super easy if batteries run out and you find yourself in trouble and without power to the swing. With the option for the wall plug in, you never have to worry about that dreaded moment happening. The swing has 6 gliding speeds that allow for a more aggressive approach, or soft and soothing, depending on what baby needs in that moment. We love the nature sounds on the swing. For some reason, those are the ones that always keep my baby feeling quiet and secure. Overall, I love this swing! I would recommend it to any parent looking for an all-in-one swing. This glider worked great in the beginning when my daughter weighed next to nothing. Now at 18 pounds, the glider hardly moves on the highest setting while she's sleeping. I find the motor to be very week and for the price of this thing, that's a huge disappointment. I will not be recommending this brand to my friends nor will I be passing it along.
