Graco Hickory Sarah 4 In 1 Dropside Crib

I ordered this crib because it met all our needs, and the right color and style. I really like it! I was surprised at how nice it is for the price. It's one of the least expensive cribs with a drop side I found, and it can actually be used with one hand. Also important is that it's not too loud when trying to get my son to bed. Other cribs I've used with a drop side have a loud "clang" when they lock in, but this one doesn't. I used the site to store and would not recomend that. They lost the crib in transit and it took a week longer than they said it would (total of 3 weeks to arrive!)

I bought this crib because of three things. The first one was the cost. I liked the price of this crib because it fit into my budget. The second was because I have bought a lot of Graco products and have been very satisfied with the quality of them. The last one was because I loved the overall look of the crib. When I opened the box, the first thing I noticed was that the crib seemed pretty cheaply made. The wood was coated, not stained. This later became a huge problem because my son chewed on the wood making tons of white marks all over it. I tried several products to cover the railing to prevent this, but none of them fit properly. Another major thing is that the rails are pretty hard and inconvient to raise up and down. The parts are plastic and seem flimsy. Because of this, I no longer use them. I have to just put my child inside the crib without lowering the rails. I just looked at the crib the other day and noticed that the wood is splitting apart down by the bottom of the crib. I don't know how this happened, but I will tell you this; I will never again buy another Graco crib! This one is still in use, but it is in bad overall shape and we have only had it for one year! My husband and I have a 5 month old foster baby whom we will adopt. When we go to buy a crib for him; it won't be a Graco!!!!

It is not the BEST crib, but it certainly suits the purpose for as inexpensive it is! It's being used as a backup at my mom's and it's perfect for that. It's sturdy enough, it's nice looking and it's not heavy so it's easy to move around. With a bumper and toys in it, you can't tell if it's 140 or 500 bucks. I like it!

Im not sure whether it's just mine or not, but the side rail keeps falling down, so I have to bring this back to the store. It's really annoying, because I bought this as a replacement for a recalled crib!! It looks nice though, and it was easy to put together.

This seems to be a great crib for a good price but the color is nothing like what you see online! We had to return the crib and find another because the color was so different and reddish that it made our hardwood floors look like they were a dingy green!
