Graco My Ride 65 LX Convertible Car Seat, Lana

We've been using this car seat for a month, and really enjoy it. My 9 month old daughter is average in height and weight, and it fits her perfectly. We found it very easy to adjust to her and get it installed in the vehicle. It offers great head and body support for little ones. The only downside is the size ... it is quite large (wide). This was not a problem in our SUV and van, but it was a little cramped in the babysitter's car.

I bought this product after my son outgrew his baby car seat. We needed to buy 2 so that my husband and I could both have one in our car. For the price this one is very good!! The quality is excellent. The cup holders are a little small but other than that we are very happy with our purchases.

I bought this seat in the Lana pattern, after months and months of research. My baby seems to have an aversion to built in headrests, so I also considered the Britax Roundabout and the Radian R100. All three got a 'happy dance' approval from my daughter. This has a taller shell than Britax seats, allowing for more rear-facing time than Britax. She also has more significantly more legroom than in the Britax seat. The Radian was a bit of a stretch financially, and required accessories to install correctly, adding to the price. The base of the Radian also made it so she couldn't see out, and she didn't really have a place to rest her head, if she were to fall asleep in the Radian. My little one also likes the cupholders in the MR. Perfect for putting toys in to keep her entertained! I have heard some people complain about the straps being hard to adjust on the MR, but I think they are EASY. You can't expect them to be as easy an an infant seat, because you are adjusting that seat in the middle of your living room, not in your car, where you would have less space. Sometimes it helps to adjust the straps prior to buckling the harness. You would think by looking at the seat in the store that it would be hard to fit in the car, but I have not had that issue. My front passenger seat is all the way back! I did install it at the most upright angle allowed, according to the ball indicator. My baby likes sitting more upright this way! All in all, I couldn't be happier with my purchase, and I am glad I chose this out of the three seats I was considering. Awesome seat for the money. Happy baby happy momma.

I went through using a few different car seats before I finally found this one....I love, love, love the Graco My Ride 65DLX for my daughter! She loves the room, the two cup holders where she puts her snacks in one and her cup in the other. I purchased this in August 2013 before our trip to visit relatives and she was extremely comfortable riding in it, falling asleep during the ride and actually says "Mommy I wanna go bye bye in car seat!" The extra padding, headrest and side impact are all great. I just am finally happy that I found this convertible car seat and cannot say anything negative about it. Thanks Graco for a great product.
