Graco - MyRide 65 Convertible Baby Car Seat, Alma

Purchased this carseat because my car's back seat has no shoulder belts, so my 5-year-old granddaughter needed the larger carseat. She LOVES it, says it is very comfortable. I am delighted at how easily I can buckle her in, and how secure she is. The latches work smoothly, and it's easy to situate them properly. Every time I use it, I think it was well worth the money. My only concern is that it tends to shift a little to the side, given it is secured only with the seatbelt. But it doesn't budge forward at all, so I am convinced she is very safe and secure. YES I recommend this seat, and/or the other 65 pound Graco seats. READ THE MANUAL before you try to do anything. ALLOW thirty minutes for initial installation. There are a lot of options, but if you read, it explains how to set up the seat and fit it properly in your individual vehicle. And once it's done, it's a very easy car seat to get little ones into and out of.

I bought this for my 9 month old who had outgrown her infant seat and I absolutely love it! It sets up high for her and seems to just snuggle her. She seems to like it too! It looks big but actually it isn't any bigger than the the infant seat when it is in the rear facing position. Couldn't be happier!

This is our second My Ride 65 car seat and the second review. My daughter is 2 years old and has cerebral Palsy. Finding a car seat that fit and supported her well with her inability to support her head and sit up was difficult. We bought the first car seat 6+ months ago and we just purchased another for our second vehicle. No other convertible car seat we tried reclines as much as this one does. It fits well in both my 2001 Toyota Carolla and Chevy Suburban. It's a great product for the money and works perfect for us since it goes to 40 pounds rear facing.

I recently bought this car seat for my 8 month old. I love how you can make it rear facing for so long. The only downfall that I noticed is that it's hard to tighten the straps when it's rear facing because you don't have much room to pull the string because it's so close to the back of the vehicles seat. I love that it has 2 cup holders. And, it's as pretty as I thought it would be! I would definitely recommend this product. It's a great value for the price. I also feel very safe putting my daughter in it.

I did a lot of reading and checked out different car seats before finally deciding on this one to transition my daughter from her infant seat when she out grew it at 6 1/2 months. It's a fantastic seat. It's very soft and comfortable for her. She's not old enough to use the cup holders for drinks yet but she does store her toys and pacifiers in them and can easily retrieve them herself. She doesn't get fussy or irritated when she's riding like she used to in the infant seat. I love that it has the latch system. It was pretty easy to install. Though not as easy as her infant seat (Chicco Keyfit 30) which was a snap to install. The Graco Myride caused my hubby and I to get in to an argument because we couldn't get it tight enough at first and we both became very frustrated. After a short time we figured it out and are still extremely satisfied. I also want to mention that the strap to tighten the seat straps was extremely tight and hard to pull at first. I had to tug very hard to get it tight enough for our daughter but the more we used it the easier it became. It still takes some hard pulling but it's not bad at all. Over all this is an excellent car seat and we are extremely satisfied with our purchase.
